This blog offers a space to be fully present in exploring who you have been, who you are now, and who you wish to become.  So welcome to YüSpace…it’s for you.

Yü are not who You think you are.  No, I’m not having fun playing with words here.  I’m trying to draw a distinction between the “you” that goes about its business in the world and the Yü that holds the power to change the tone of the world – by simply becoming Yü!

This blog is nothing if not a space to contemplate who Yü really are, or who Yü are working to become in this life.  So an exploration of the word Yü and its origins is in order, if you are to embrace the idea of Being Yü instead of simply expanding the personality that is you.

• First, a few definitions taken from The Dictionary of Philosophy:

Yu: Being, existence, the mother of all things, which comes from Non-Being (wu). Both Being and Non-Being are aspects of Tao

Yu: Space, or “what extends to different places” and “covers the four directions.” (Neo-Mohism)

Yu: “Eternal being” refers to the function of the metaphysical principle Tao. It is no mere zero or nothingness, having as first principle brought all things into being. (Lao Tzu, Taoists)

Upon understanding what it means to Be Yü, would you prefer to continue living in the comfort zone of the you you’ve always been?  I thought not.  Just keep remembering that changing your perspective from you to Yü can happen in the Blink of an eye when you are willing to stop staring intensely at your own beliefs, aka repetitious thought patterns, and instead open your eyes to the vast range of available viewing points.
